Word's can be powerful; they can insight, compel and inspire. Words can also bring to mind fond memories.
Winter is one of those words, and when I think of winter, the word Wolaver's comes to mind and brings about fond memories of delicious, mouth watering brews from Vermont. They are the a brewery that focuses on "organic" beer, now owners of Otter Creek, and affiliated with Long Trail and The Shed.
A brew of theirs that stands out is their oatmeal stout. Their beer is always of high quality, and the Oatmeal stout is of no exception. It starts off with a Chocolatey nose and has a very mellow flavor. While drinking it, there is a smooth and almost milk chocolate essence accompanied by a touch of bitterness.
I've had this on tap at the Eastern States Exposition (The Big E) in New England. And as you can see form the picture, from the bottle. I give this a 5 out of 5 on Untappd every time. If you get the chance pick it up and savor this wonderful stout.
